NA steering column gauge mount

NA steering column gauge mount

A-pillar guage pods are easy and great for visibility of the gauge, but not everyone likes how visible they are from outside the car or how they can effectively make the A-pillar a bit thicker. Here's another option for that crowd. This mount puts the gauge immediately above the steering column shroud, giving perfect gauge visibility to the driver but making it nearly invisible from outside of the car. Easy installation - remove the shroud, unbolt the clock spring and move it forward slightly, then put it all together. Bear in mind that you'll need to trim or remove the cover panel on top of the steering column shroud.

Please note that a gauge in this location will completely block the warning lights in the middle of the dash, as well as the top portion of the tach and the very bottom of the speedometer (with stock gauge faces). It's not for everyone, but it's a really slick install for those who are okay with the compromises.

This comes in bare aluminum. You can leave it bare or paint it to your preference.

This is another part from our You Design program, which gives the DIY community an outlet for their designs and an opportunity to make some money from their hard work and ingenuity.
